Construction has begun on the sports infrastructure project jointly developed by the Parent and Guardian Association of El Progreso School, the Municipality of Cabrero, International Power Services, and Transelec—an initiative that represents an important milestone for the local educational community.
Thanks to the commitment and leadership of the Parent and Guardian Association, along with the school’s principal, Alejandro Muñoz, the community celebrates a meaningful achievement that will directly benefit students by promoting sports, recreation, and healthy lifestyles.
Under this agreement, the Municipal Education Department (DAEM) of Cabrero, International Power Services, and Transelec formalized a collaboration to build a paved multi-purpose sports court. Within this framework, International Power Services and Transelec will provide the materials required for the project, while DAEM will contribute the labor as part of its educational infrastructure plan.
This progress has been made possible thanks to the organization, vision, and ongoing effort of parents and guardians, who promoted this initiative with the wellbeing and integral development of their children in mind—strengthening the school’s infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the El Progreso educational community.
