A certification ceremony was held for the Elderly Care Training Course for women entrepreneurs, as part of an agreement between the INACAP Professional Institute in Copiapó, Central Cardones of International Power Services, and the Health Department of the Municipality of Copiapó.
With great emotion from the participants, certificates were awarded recognizing their newly acquired knowledge and techniques for caring for older adults.
Caring for an older adult is not only a technical task; it is a profound act of humanity. Every wrinkle, every look, every shared word holds a story—an entire life of learning, challenges, and fulfilled dreams.
In this course, participants did not only learn procedures, tools, and techniques; they learned to accompany. They learned to recognize in each older person a universe of experiences deserving to be heard, respected, and protected. They learned to become a bridge between past and present, a source of support in moments of vulnerability, and a companion in days that require a little more kindness.
To care is also to honor—honor the life they have built, the paths they have walked, and the wisdom they still have to share. Every gesture of patience, each smile offered, and each hand held can transform their day—and ours as well.
Thank you for choosing to train in care. Thank you for being among those who view older adults with dignity, love, and respect. Because in caring for them, we also care for our own humanity.
